Why are more people turning to Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)? Perhaps it's because we listen.
“It is my personal belief that there is so much more to great health than just keeping your body going. By listening to you, I can begin to
appreciate your journey. Appreciating your journey helps me to understand what it is that you need, right now, and the combination of
therapies that will help you most in this moment. Your body is amazing. It has this natural ability to heal itself, if you let it.
Appropriate herbs, de-stressing or energetic therapies can give your body that gentle nudge needed to facilitate your self-healing. That’s
why each herbal mixture is uniquely crafted to suit you and each reiki or stress therapy session is based around the aspects of your story
uncovered so far.” - Tracy Tutty, Medical Herbalist, Stress Therapist, Reiki Master and founder of Turquoise Ray.
Tracy provides western herbal medicine, reiki and stress therapy on Thursday evenings at Snowsfields Wellness in London Bridge.

Strategies for Stress-Free Living
Stress occurs when you:
- Perceive a Situation to be Threatening; and
- Don't Believe You Have the Skills to Cope with That Situation.
You Can Manage the Stress Response by Changing Your Answer to either of these two questions. We've created a Your FREE Guide to Managing Stress
to help you do just that.
The purpose of this website is to provide you with leading edge strategies for a stress-free life and the complementary therapies that will help
you regroup, rebalance and regain great health and vitality.
I am a Complementary Therapist. And as such, I will listen to you in order to be able to appreciate your journey and
where appropriate, I may prescribe herbs, relaxation practices or lifestyle adjustments that will support you in your journey back to wellness
and joyfulness.
Stress plays a key role in our ability to stay healthy. Good health and happiness does not come from avoiding stressful situations.
We
are meant to deal with stressful situations and then relax, restore and rebalance ready for the next challenge. Unfortunately the life we live
today means we are facing stressful situations but not allowing ourselves to relax, restore and rebalance. Constantly living as though we are
preparing to fight or flee takes its toll mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. This prolonged state has been linked to
inflammatory responses within our body which have been associated with the onset of many conditions.
Because stress starts in the mind and generates an emotional response and physiological changes within the body we can combat stress on three
levels physical, emotional and mental. This unique pathway provides us with three opportunities to control the stress response.
- Relax your body. Complementary Therapies offer a great way to schedule in some relaxation time. For information on some
complementary therapies that are available, please check out the menu on the left of this page.
- Change how you feel and use your emotions to monitor your level of stress.
- Change how you perceive an event.
