Therapies Available at the Turquoise Ray
Why are more people turning to CAM?
Because we listen.
As a CAM practitioner, I am trained in understanding pathology, but more importantly, I want to know how your unique condition affects you.
I am interested in your story.
What are the unique collection of thoughts, feelings and events that have brought you to this place today?
A CAM practitioner is interested in helping you bring together all the pieces that have contributed to your illness. Your mind, body and soul
are all involved in great health.
As a Medical Herbalist, Stress Therapist and Complementary Therapist I will listen in order to be able to
appreciate your journey and where appropriate, prescribe herbs, relaxation practices or lifestyle adjustments that will support you in your journey
back to wellness and joyfulness.
Stress plays a key role in our ability to stay healthy. Good health and happiness does not come from avoiding stressful situations. We
are meant to deal with stressful situations and then relax, restore and rebalance ready for the next challenge. Unfortunately the life we live
today means we are facing stressful situations but not allowing ourselves to relax, restore and rebalance. Constantly living as though we are
preparing to fight or flee takes its toll mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. This prolonged state has been linked to
inflammatory responses within our body which have been associated with the onset of many conditions.
Your Stress Unique Pathway Leaves Clues. You Can Use These Clues to Control Your Stress. Follow the Diagram Below to Discover How.
Because stress starts in the mind and generates an emotional response and physiological changes within the body we can combat stress on three
levels physical, emotional and mental. This unique pathway provides us with three opportunities to control the stress response.
- Relax your body. Complementary Therapies offer a great way to schedule in some relaxation time. For information on some
